 Red Hatting is a social activity for ladies over 50 who want to enjoy each others company and make the most of their retirement by embracing new challenges. There are approximately 100 Chapters currently in the UK with more growing every year with ladies taking up their need to belong to something modern and fun.

We wear Red Hats and Purple outfits to show our commitement to Jenny Joseph's poem "When I grow old I will wear a Red Hat and purple"

The Fareham Scarlet Fedoras started in November 2006 and since then have been seen out playing most Tuesdays trying anything from Bowling to Belly Dancing.
